Thousand Oaks has been my home for many years, and I’ve always believed that being part of a community means giving back to it. That philosophy has guided both my career and my public service – helping people plan for their future while working to keep our city a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

For more than 40 years, I’ve worked as a financial advisor, supporting clients throughout the Conejo Valley and beyond as they navigate life’s financial decisions. My approach centers on long term relationships and thoughtful investment strategies designed to help my clients grow and preserve their assets over time. To me, investment planning is about more than markets – it’s about helping people feel confident about their future.

That same long term perspective has shaped my work in public service. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Thousand Oaks City Council since 2012, including three terms as Mayor. My focus has included supporting local businesses, addressing housing needs with care, and preserving the quality of life that makes this community so special. Before joining the Council, I served on the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission from 2004 to 2010, gaining a deep appreciation for balanced, thoughtful growth.

Community involvement has always been important to me. I spent 20 years on the Conejo Valley YMCA board, including serving as Chair, and chaired the Civic Arts Plaza board. I was also a founding member of the Alliance for the Arts and served on its Board of Governors, supporting programs that enrich our community. Being named Man of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce was a meaningful honor and a reflection of how deeply I value this community.

I graduated from Rutgers University and have been recognized with the Platinum Council distinction from 2006 through 2024.

Family has always been at the center of my life. My wife, Marilyn, and I are proud to have raised our twin daughters, Erica and Allison, here in Thousand Oaks. Staying connected and involved in the community has always been important to us. In my free time, I enjoy boxing, playing golf with my family, and spending time together boating and water skiing at Lake Arrowhead.

The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structures.

The 2023 Man of the Year recognition was bestowed by the Thousand Oaks Chamber of Commerce as a result of Community efforts, unrelated to the business of the firm.
